The name is Rick, Rick O'Connell

Up until a few years ago, I was a regular guy. I served in the French Foreign Legion but funny how life has this way of changing on you. After having my pocket picked by one Jonathan Carnahan, I found myself face to face with his sister Evelyn who bought my freedom at a price. Price being we had to take the Warden Gad Hassan along for the ride. Not my most favourite part as you can imagine.

So anyways, we finally arrive at the ancient city of Hamunaptra where we spend our time digging and then my fellow Americans come across this book. A book that Evelyn seems to want and steals one night. Evelyn tells me that no harm has ever come from reading a book and boy was she wrong!

She mananged to wake up a mummy, ugly fella, goes by the name of Imhotep, and then we spend our time mostly running away until he gets a bright idea to use Evelyn's body as a host for his great love - Anck Su Namun. But no way and no how so we go and we rescue her and we send Imhotep packing and at the end of all of this? I get a kiss, not bad at all.

Of course, I was dumb enough to think that I wouldn't need to chase dead mummies around and save the world but when you're with a woman like Evelyn - it's just a matter of buckling your seatbelt and enjoying the ride. Sufficed to say big ugly came back and we had to save the world again.

I'll let you fill in all the grey areas for yourself.
